My last 단풍/Winter is coming!

This should be the last autumn foliage post because winter is coming~~~~~

I can't decide if I'm excited or not that winter is coming. I supposed yes, because of snow and all that but it's gonna be so. freaking. cold. Maybe I should consider buying a winter jacket. Argh I dunno haha (because what if it's a waste of money where I won't have chances to wear it much?!)

SO. Last Friday......

We had lunch before going to the palace HAHAHA

Sorry I have to post photos of our lunch because I'm aspiring to be a food photographer HAHAHA ok joke but yes I like posting photos of food.

I forgot the name of the restaurant but we took exit 1 from Anguk station and walked straight for a while before turning right (sorry this is NOT HELPFUL AT ALL lol). Their specialty is dumplings/noodles! Hot soup~ I eat hot food really slowly so I was worried that we wouldn't make it in time to the palace (we have to be there 20 minutes before the guided tour is supposed to start in order to purchase tickets).

Okay anyway, caught the last 단풍 at Changdeokgung Palace! Previously, my roomie showed pictures of the palace (especially the secret garden/aka Huwon/Biwon) during autumn and it was so prettyyyyy. But we didn't manage to get tickets during the peak foliage period (that was about 3 weeks ago) - book online early to get tickets!! Or else go on the day itself, but go early because people go at around 10am to buy tickets for guided tours at 2.30pm etc.

For the palace itself, guided tours are not necessary but you have to follow one to go into the Huwon/Secret Garden! Hahaha I felt very privileged walking around the Huwon because it was like royalty's private gardens and here I am gallivanting around~ lol

Close up of the library gate. Only the Emperor (I think?) could enter through this big gate, his subordinates had to use the smaller gates on the left and right.

And that's the library behind me! And the pond was frozen!!

Ah, and here are our 미친 (cray cray) face shots ahahahaha

What's left of my purple hair - the last time it was pink-ish but now it's copper brown LOL
