Chasing 단풍

Hehe this happened last Friday actually!

Sorry for the belated updates haha last weekend was such a rollercoaster ride back home and I was riding on the coattails of the rollercoaster here in Korea receiving updates about the Singapore River Regatta 2013.

Bb's team did super well :-) glad that happened haha but my heart still aches haha, for us, it's ok we'll only have a better season from now onwards!! MR500 we'll be more than ready /insert bicep/

~~~
Anyway, the 단풍! Since it's possibly my first and last (but I sure as hell hope not!!) autumn in Korea, I've been obsessed with autumn foliage. I walk to class staring at the trees and willing the leaves not to fall. I walk back to dorm from class staring at the trees and willing the leaves not to fall, still. Hahaha every day, this is what I do.
But it rained last weekend so most of the leaves dropped off. And this week is colder than ever - my roomie says winter is here!
Nevertheless, we managed to catch the Namsan Tower 단풍 last Friday!! I was actually planning to go up to Namsan Tower myself lolol but Yeesee called me a crazy woman and then after thinking about it I realized it probably wouldn't be such a good idea because I'd go crazy looking at all the other lovey dovey couples maybe? HAHA.
So, I went with Konrad and Yeesee and we had a very nice and slow (really slow lol) walk up to N Seoul Tower (aka Namsan Tower, all the same really) and took many photos of the leaves!! With my wonderful camera hehehe
Toy camera effect!
And we have the crazy face shots hahaha
What's left of my purple hair lol ok at least it's a little pink-ish here...now it's just brown
Them trying to act all Jap neo-print styles lolol 가지마~~
And then we finally made it to the top, where I've been before so there wasn't really anything impressive - the locks are still the same anyway hahaha
Every time I come here I never fail to take a shot of this haha I hope the next time I get to take a photo of it with snow all over it hehe
The only different thing this time compared to all the other times I went up to Namsan Tower was that we had a nice walk up!! Usually we go up by taking the cable car instead haha. But we took the cable car back down to save time because we wanted to go to the Lantern Festival at Cheonggyecheon. But we got too tired after that we skipped it and went to Yeesee's place for a nice home-cook meal from her hehe
