ISFJ

I saw this on my newsfeed on Facebook last night so out of curiousity (and slight boredom), I took the personality test! This is one of the better tests I think haha cos the results were really quite accurate and I felt that I could answer the questions as close to reality as possible.

Or maybe it was because I was level-headed while taking this test hahaha

Turns out I'm an ISFJ which is rather accurate because 1) I've always known I was an "I". Lol. But I think I've changed since the last time we took this test during secondary school days - I think I used to be INFJ? (ok actually I think this way because INFJ, the letters, look the most familiar to me lolol)

Some parts that I thought were interesting:

  1. ISFJs are extraordinarily loyal, committed and patient. (AHAHAHA yes i'm a very loyal person lolol)
  2. People with the ISFJ personality type often have very good memory and exceptional imagination. (And my memory freaks people out sometimes so I actually pretend to not remember stuff sometimes HAHA)
  3. People with this type are known for their meticulousness, patience, reliability and analytical skills. (That's why I'm sometimes OCD!!)
And also, the key traits of the ISFJ (link here) completely resonate with the kind of person that I am - just wowowow this personality test is so......real.

OK time to spend the rest of the day reading academic journals~ And I have a confession to make, I'm becoming extremely fatty like I don't even have motivation to go to the gym, and when I go to the gym I hardly do weights because everyone else will stare HAIZ and I can't run on the treadmill cos it makes me feel damn sick and nauseous (and today is the second last day of our gym membership for the rest of exchange here) and aiya all excuses, I suck, end of story.

IU concert: Modern Times

Last Saturday (which was also 예쁜 pretty Yeesee's birthday), we went for IU's concert at KyungHee University!

It was SUCH A PRETTY PLACE to hold the concert at, wow. The majestic building, stained glass windows, luxurious interior with marble stairs etc. Wow wow wow. And apparently, the last IU concert Last Fantasy was also held at the same place, in this very beautiful building!!

Anyway, IU is such an adorable girl. So cute, so nice, kind, innocent, pretty ok what else I can't think of any other adjectives right now hahaha. But she's super nice!!!! She gives out the best service to her fans, and she sang live for so many songs omg. I'm captivated by both her and her voice haha. And it seemed like she hardly drank any water during the entire performance??? Wow. The real pro right there.

Even though IU's mostly a ballad singer, I really like her voice and her Disney-ish/Jazz style of music. At first I didn't like Red Shoes, but it started to grow on me and after watching her perform it (it was the opening performance to her show) I'M IN LUV. Call me crazy but I'm not only in love with the song, I'm in love with HER.

HAHAHA.

And she sang all my favourite songs!!!! Even if I don't really like her early few songs like Marshmallow and Boo, it was nice to see her perform them. I went crazy when the backup dancers lined up in position for You And I (best song ever), and got even crazier when Good Day came on cos I was dying to hear her sing the 3 octave note!! So imagine my disappointment when she didn't and sang the backtrack "it's so beautiful~ beautiful day~ eh~ just, blablabla" ahahaha

BUT THEN THE LIGHTS WENT OUT.

And the song came back on with IU belting out the 3 octave note!!!!!!! WOW MY ELATION. Ok i think it's pretty apparent from the way I'm using caps hahahahha

Ah she's too precious. There was even a photo time for the audience to take photos as she posed for them.

That's how far away we were :'( (and this is already with zoom on my camera!!)

Sigh, what a precious girl!!!!

After the concert there was even a special segment. The concert had supposedly ended, with the encore all done and stuff, but she came back out in lazy clothes and there was an intimate performance with her and the audience. Got to see IU close-up!!!!! Whoohoo. Espeically given how far away we were seated, so blessed to be able to see her within 30m from my eyes!! Hahaha.

IU 30m away from me (that glowing figure in white lol) ahhh used my phone to take this photo haha

Ok I'm a convert IU fan now. I was okay with her, going into the concert, but now I love her. I hope to see her more in the future (even though this exchange program is supposed to be like closure for my Kpop craziness HAHAHA).

I wish my hair was like hers. HAHA

My last 단풍/Winter is coming!

This should be the last autumn foliage post because winter is coming~~~~~

I can't decide if I'm excited or not that winter is coming. I supposed yes, because of snow and all that but it's gonna be so. freaking. cold. Maybe I should consider buying a winter jacket. Argh I dunno haha (because what if it's a waste of money where I won't have chances to wear it much?!)

SO. Last Friday......

We had lunch before going to the palace HAHAHA

Sorry I have to post photos of our lunch because I'm aspiring to be a food photographer HAHAHA ok joke but yes I like posting photos of food.

I forgot the name of the restaurant but we took exit 1 from Anguk station and walked straight for a while before turning right (sorry this is NOT HELPFUL AT ALL lol). Their specialty is dumplings/noodles! Hot soup~ I eat hot food really slowly so I was worried that we wouldn't make it in time to the palace (we have to be there 20 minutes before the guided tour is supposed to start in order to purchase tickets).

Okay anyway, caught the last 단풍 at Changdeokgung Palace! Previously, my roomie showed pictures of the palace (especially the secret garden/aka Huwon/Biwon) during autumn and it was so prettyyyyy. But we didn't manage to get tickets during the peak foliage period (that was about 3 weeks ago) - book online early to get tickets!! Or else go on the day itself, but go early because people go at around 10am to buy tickets for guided tours at 2.30pm etc.

For the palace itself, guided tours are not necessary but you have to follow one to go into the Huwon/Secret Garden! Hahaha I felt very privileged walking around the Huwon because it was like royalty's private gardens and here I am gallivanting around~ lol

Close up of the library gate. Only the Emperor (I think?) could enter through this big gate, his subordinates had to use the smaller gates on the left and right.

And that's the library behind me! And the pond was frozen!!

Ah, and here are our 미친 (cray cray) face shots ahahahaha

What's left of my purple hair - the last time it was pink-ish but now it's copper brown LOL

Directions:
Take the train to Anguk Station (Subway Line 3), Exit 3.
Go straight for 5 minutes.

For advanced reservations, required for the Secret Garden tour (aka Huwon/Biwon),
Tel: +82-2-762-8261 (English)
Online reservations here, website is in Korean and English!

Normal palace tickets cost, 5000won. + the Secret Garden guided tour ticket, we paid 8000won!

Bye~! (단풍)

I wanna go home now and do some of the stuff on that list lololol

Ok there should be a list for Korea somewhere...but I think we've covered most of it already ahaha (except ice skating!!!!!! Ice skating at City Hall during winter I CANNOT WAIT)

Capicapiloomloom - Rilakkuma Cafe

I TELL YOU, I must go back to this cafe at least once before going back to Singapore!! (My mom told me to bring her there, she'll buy me coffee HAHAH)

So cuteeeeeee ok had the time of my life in the cafe and I didn't want to leave ha ha ha

Too happy hahahaha

Honey Ice Cream toast, if I'm not wrong. Not that good cos the toppings were only on the top piece of bread -_-

Date with my love!!!!! Hehehe

Haiz too cute lah this bear...I cannot take it hahaha

The cafe is at Sungshin Womens' University (Line 4). Take exit 1~

Sotong me happily took the train to Sookmyung Womens' University think it was the right stop. I exited and went to exit 1 and called Yeesee.

"Hello? I'm here already but I don't see you and this area looks weird..."

I expected to see lots and lots of shops cos that's what university areas look like, especially women universities!! TURNS OUT I WENT TO THE WRONG PLACE HAHAHAHA blur like crazy man. So I went back into the subway (another fare ㅜㅜ) and took the train to Sookmyung station.

Ok I'm gonna attempt giving directions again (cos I hate it when I find dead-end blogs ie I search for directions online and the writer has been to that place but there are no directions given ㅜㅜ so I shall try to be more hardworking!!!

After exiting from the station (exit 1!!!!), walk straight for a bit and you'll see KB Bank on your right. Turn into that street! Then walk all the way down and you should see Mister Pizza on your left. When you do, turn left!! It's junction so it shouldn't be hard to miss. The Rilakkuma Cafe should be on your right, so cross the street. And the entrance is pretty small and easy to miss so take note!!!! It's called CapiCapiLoomLoom btw, not Rilakkuma Cafe ahahaha

Sometimes I don't understand myself hahaha why am I so crazy over this lazy bear (懒懒熊). Haiz.

Oh and they sell lots of Rilakkuma stuff there haha (have to go back and buy some!!) hmm I should go with my banker hor, aka my mum......

Toilet deco HAHAHA

Marilyn Monroe (which Connie says is damn weird and scary looking)

Vincent Van Gogh-kuma

Mona Lisa-kuma

Can't wait to go back to this place ah hahaha

Cheonggyecheon Lantern Festival

Wowow I have a lot of photos and OCD me needs to put them in sequence ahahah anyway went to the Lantern Festival last Friday!

The festival usually lasts two weeks in November, this year it was 1 - 17 November and there's a different theme each year!! I think previous years were prettier? There were a lot of characters this time ie human faces in cartoon style haha. I've always wanted to go to the lantern festival ever since I saw photos of it online about 2 years ago! Whoohoo another dream come true~

Anyway the themes for this year were:
  1.  500 years of the Hanseong Baekje Period
  2. Ungjin Baekje Period
  3. Sabi Baekje Period
  4. Baekje's spirit of harmony
Very very Baekje-centered lolol also, went with Konrad and his Korean friend Sang Joon and his friend said "it's like my Korean history textbook come alive!" HAHA cos of the Baekje period.

We kinda entered from the wrong end I think? So we walked the festival backwards but it was a good thing too because the other side of the stream was jam packed with people!! Like they were just standing there and they couldn't move haha while we were still rather comfortable on our side - just the right amount of crowd? HAHA.

I like this fish one!! It was super pretty (even if looking at it now, the fish's eye freaks me out a little)

This is a seal y'all. It's a mascot. For I forgot what but I saw it the other day at the subway.

Oh yeah Asian Games next year @ Incheon!!

Lion dance for you? HAHAHA

One of the cultural artifacts from Baekje period - it's nothing as huge as this in real life!!!!

The end/or rather, the beginning of the festival - but this was the end for us ahaha

If you want to make the same innocent (but what a relief we did!) mistake as us, take the subway to Euljiro4(sa)-ga and take the exit towards Cheonggyecheon (I forgot what number lol) and then walk towards the start of Cheonggyecheon (City Hall direction). Ah ok what lousy directions I'm giving - take a chance and explore!! #yolo

LOL.
