Today my Whatsapp crashed on me.

I, being greedy, decided to update the app because it promised iOS 7 compatibility and I wanted to type with the white keyboard cos it looks pretty to me. So despite the concern at the back of my head re: app crashing after the update, I went ahead and did it. And, lo and behold, it decided to crash on me.

I had to delete and download the app again, and the thing is, I ended up downloading the pre-updated Whatsapp version. What. The. Heck. My update was in vain?! All that trouble for nothing??? Plus, I don't know why but I didn't back up my chats lol so the only thing that happened was me re-joining all my initial group chats but I lost all the individual chats AND all the media in Whatsapp. And I switched off the auto-save into camera roll (because I disliked the idea of all sorts of rubbish being saved into my camera roll) so I have nothing.


I don't know why I'm so pissed off considering how I should just be glad that it's working and that I'm still (thankfully) able to use my Singapore number. But seriously. I'm pissed. But honestly, I wonder why?

Maybe because all my friends + family are on Whatsapp and it's the only thing I use to communicate with them on a daily basis. Maybe because without it I can't contact people. I can't "lean" on my phone when I feel like being needy. In terms of this leaning that I'm talking about, I can't scroll back on past media/chats (yes I'm sentimental like that) and laugh at the funny moments/pictures. Now I can't laugh at the photo of my cat with her head in a sock (sent by my mom) because it didn't get downloaded into my camera roll and I didn't save it. /rage face/ Hahaha, I'm disconnected.


I'm reliant, maybe over-reliant, on technology. Damn it, it's true when they say I can't live without my phone.




This sucks.

(Today is also my 100th day in Korea.)


Update: I'm fine now, have decided not to be a slave to technology ahahahaha I WILL NO LONGER BE AFFECTED BY THESE STUFF thanks for cheering me up :-*
