I was thinking about this blog and the content I post up here these days haha differs so much from the secondary school blogging days....so much!
Started thinking about how I would make mental notes in my head to record down funny stuff that happened to me during the day when I got back home - mostly training stuff, sometimes classroom stuff haha. And like the first thing I'd do when I got back home was to use the computer (to check for updates on my Korean boyfriends HAHA) and then blog. Hardly any studying lol but I think I used to do better at school than I am now haha
I wonder about now... if I didn't go on exchange, I probably wouldn't have started this blog again. And I wanted to blog primarily on exchange/Korea only but I ended up blogging about dragonboat stuff, shows, basically things that happen in my life apart from the more vibrant exchange life segment. I guess the content is still rather wanderlust, about traveling and places to go to overseas (given some Bangkok posts and the many exchange posts haha)
So then this leads me to exchange. I think it's one of the best decisions in my life even if I was exceedingly reluctant and unwilling to go. I applied for exchange on a whim, and the only place I'd want to go was South Korea haha so everywhere else wasn't on my mind. Can't believe my amazing luck given my dismal grades that I was able to go on exchange. But most of all, I'm glad the people around me pushed me to going - on exchange I made good friends that I still talk to/keep in contact with. Even if we don't meet or talk as much as we used to (well, during exchange we only had each other HAHA) I know i've made friends for life because we can always pick up where we left off the next time we meet! Haha. All the inside jokes we make etc, they remain lol
Maybe I should have made more international friends/maintained better friendships with the international friends I made (feels like hi-bye, that I'll never see them again :-/). But I don't regret forging such good friendships with other Singaporeans. Awwwwwwwww hahaha
(in other news I watched Divergent yesterday and homg I love it love the soundtrack too Ellie Goulding's voice is really really nice. I got the soft copy of the book already thanks to my lovely junior but maybe I should get hard copies for better reading enjoyment ahahahaha)
