Tried dyeing my hair purple (and pink) again today and the purple failed but the pink is out in full blast. Hahaha used Jas's semi-permanent colour hair dye given how my Korean dyed hair has now faded so I have the bleached parts left! Photos later. Meanwhile, I've also managed to dyed parts of my toilet into pink and purple (in splotches too, how artistic) and my nails too, they look like a funny shade of blue-black/purple bahahaha killing 3 birds with one stone - hair, toilet and nails.
On a side note, TGIF. Or Thank God It's FREE-day hahaha according to Joanne!! How apt. It's been a long week of trainings and today I'm finally making some headway with my readings (unknowingly finished three already~ but out of 14 HAHAHA good luck to me) and it's the last day of J's quizathon whoohoo
Ok gonna finish this episode of 별에서 운 그대 before carrying on with the fourth reading...

Twilight x Labels
During dinner today my brother turned on the television to a channel that was broadcasting Breaking Dawn Part 1 of the Twilight saga. Having read the book (and subsequently the entire series) before it became a huge hit and turned girls completely crazy over the characters, I did watch the first three movies of the saga. But with each movie, I began to wonder what exactly was so bad about it.
Watching Bella and Edward at the wedding, and Jacob coming to visit her for a bit before things got out of hand (couldn't really hear the dialogue from the dining table haha so I don't know, for sure, why Jacob got mad) but I just thought of labels. How media and a lot of people/audiences have labelled the actress who plays Bella (Kristen Stewart) as someone who has a narrow range of emotions etc. Recently on Facebook, I also came across a poem she wrote which was analyzed my literature buffs and she got annihilated.
Which comes to the point about labels. Whatever role Kristen Stewart plays, she'll very likely be unable to break away from what people think of her in Twilight. Likewise for Daniel Radcliffe from Harry Potter and the other actors from the series. They've created a name for themselves in a role that they've so heavily immersed themselves with (especially for Harry Potter, we practically watched them grow up on screen) it's hard for them to ever break away from the audience's image of them.
So what about people in our lives? Do their pasts define them? I was just scrolling through photos on Facebook and emotions went wild, alarm bells in my head and all (lol. hormones.). I guess I'm really giving the people around me the gun and letting them point it, point blank, straight at me. I'm trusting all the people around me. I have to stop doubting. "Go hard or go home." ha ha ha

Happy birthday!
Wheeeee~
I don't know about you, but i'm feeling 22~ hahahaha it's also Kang Ha Neul aka my handsome Korean boyfriend's birthday so here's a video of him seeing one of my favourite old Korean songs (to me HAHA)!
Also my mother bought me a cake ㅠㅠㅠ I haven't had a birthday cake in forever hahahaha and she tricked me!! She came home and I was in my room, and she lured me out of the room by tricking me into thinking she won a (random) box from a lucky draw from buying milk. Lol. Sometimes I really think I'm too gullible for my own good hahaha I had no suspicions at all. So she was quite pleased with herself hahaha
Happy birthday to Ah Shan, my fellow wild child!!
Hehehe in the photos - it's perfect - your boyfriend (Little Prince) is in it, the background is blue, and so cute you're pulling the lamb's ear HAHAHA love you very much- So much that I'd willingly steal themoon chair from Petit France for you~

Coach's Valentine's Wedding
But aww what a beautiful bride and handsome groom ahahaha and they're finally married!! I don't know the bride but the groom always gets Joanne and me mixed up during training hahahahaha aw man PK is one of the best coaches I've ever known haha
Anyway about the mixing up thing, sometimes Joanne isn't even at training that day and he still calls me Joanne!! (In their defense, everyone thinks we look alike haha) anyway our strategy is to ignore him, despite knowing full well he is calling us, until he calls us by the correct name hahahahaha
Fun times, fun times
P/S: my photo editing skills need to be more consistent huh hahaha

Happy Valentine's Day ♥️
Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!
Made some strawberry cheesecake in a cup which was kinda like a failure cos of the cheese (too much of it and not sweet enough!) but at least the strawberry sauce was a pretty success and it made a pretty photo for Instagram hehehe but the washing up was really tiring which reminds me of what deterred me from stepping into the kitchen for so long (but I can cook if I want to! Fully capable of cooking a wholesome meal, just to clarify lol)
Also the lucky recipients of my #masterchef attempts enjoyed it HAHA that's great news, but oh well there's no proper recipe because it was made by ~feel~. Hahahahahaha
My tummy is blessed today! Strawberry cheesecake, my favourite (5ever) ramen, cookies etc etc ok back to my report writing for one of my modules - this post is just to update on my current life and take a break from reminiscing the Korean life.

SMTOWN WEEK 2013: Super Junior - Treasure Island
Quite a few photos cos there was a SM TOWN exhibition too! Haha. Should have gone for the EXO and SHINee ones though. Sighz I really like EXO haha what a waste to have missed them!!
BUT FIRST...... I met Billie early in the morning and we had a heavy brunch at Cafe Burano around Hongdae area! The concert venue was out of the way at KINTEX ilsan haha after our brunch we even bought bread from Paris Baguette like we were stocking up for war HAHAHA
Portions were HUGE and I felt full (I eat a lot for a girl ahah) so in my opinion it was really worth it! Also, for this price... man I miss brunch places in Korea haha all of them so cheap and indie and cool. Haiz.
On a side note, this place would probably be pretty nice and chill to visit during summer because the patio would be open and you can sit outdoors. In winter, there's only indoors!
Then came the long train ride to meet my boyfriendssssss
Billie and I went to the exhibition hall first cos that was where merchandise was being sold and we were helping two friends of Billie's (who were coming later) to buy the goods before they got sold out!

Teehee me and my EXO boyfriends - I love this photo of them! (also I was channeling Korean school girl #ootd style that day lolol) |

Super Junior (too huge I have to take a panorama hahaha) |

DBSK!!!!!!! :'( my heart somewhat breaks when I see them haiz |
The concert was FANTASTIC. I was some crazy fangirl hitting Billie all the time hahahahahaha

Was trying to capture the Korean blue fan crowd but I kinda failed haha didn't manage any shots when the venue was dark |
They sang a lot of old songs (and even Miracle!!!!!!! Homg memories) so I was really happy since I haven't been keeping up recently and I don't know their more recent songs. Sighz what a happy day
Would have been even happier if we managed to get tickets into SBS Gayo Daejun 2013 ㅠㅠ but I guess we shouldn't be greedy hehehe because while we were waiting outside this place (just after the Super Junior concert) there was suddenly a mob of people and some girls screaming and i saw JONGHYUN AND MINHO FROM SHINEE WALKING TOWARDS ME. Ok la in my direction haha so I stood right smack in the middle and got a good frontal view before moving to the side to give way and I spied with my little eye - Jonghyun's smirk as he walked through the crowd because the girls were all screaming. Haaaaaa he knows. That he's good looking. HAHA.
After the long and unfruitful wait outside the Gayo Daejun hall, we gave up and ended the day with one of my favourite Korean dishes - kimchi fried rice
AND DDEOKBOKKI. Oh man I kinda miss Korean food even though it was mostly spicy which gave me an upset stomach sometimes. Since I got back I've been having stomachache every so often it's like unable to acclimatise back to Singaporean food.
I really am a problematic girl.

Ice Skating on Christmas Day
Our plan was to go ice skating on Christmas Day! But it being a festive holiday, it was bound to be crowded. Tried booking for tickets online at Seoul Skate but failed - our cards somehow wouldn't work! So on Christmas Day itself, I went down early to book an afternoon slot for the four of us. Only 1000won (~1.20sgd) for an hour of skating per person inclusive of skate rentals!! You can get a longer slot by buying two consecutive time slots etc then you can skate for 2 hours if you get what I mean haha
Lockers were free too!! Very important to reach earlier than your time slot to collect your skates and get a locker - because everyone has bulky items during winter time ahahaheheehhohoh
How to get there:
Take to City Hall Station (Line 1 and 2)
Walk towards Exit 6, and you should be able to see the ice skating rink!
Ice skating rink indicated in pink circle, exit 6 indicated with the red circle! It's opposite the Deoksugung palace.
Hahaha yepppppo and~
Merry (belated) Christmas hahahahahahaha
