Day 4.5 in Korea

So it's past midnight now......technically day 5. Typing this on my phone cos I'm too lazy to boot up my laptop hahaha

Spent days 2-3.5 in Jeju Island! Such a beautiful island filled with scenic views and nature. I wouldn't mind going back there in winter, honestly. Didn't get to see my Camellia flowers so that was a little sad but if I go back in winter, they'll be blossoming~~~

Also. On day 1.5, it was spent in the 찜질방 aka sauna hahahaha I was gonna avoid saunas because I'm not really comfortable with nudity and all but we didn't really have a choice here. And all's fine cos we didn't bathe there in the end (ha!) we just...hobo-ed and slept there overnight haha 

That said...been having problems trying to get SIM card because they don't have nano SIM cards yet (iPhone 5 user) zz

(I'm only posting this in the morning - this makes it day 5 instead of 4.5 hahaha - because I had to abruptly stop typing and go to sleep...)

But I just realized the potential problems of using Yeesee's phone with the normal SIM card!! My whatsapp chats, groups and contacts...... They'll be affected right? Sighzz

Take more, take all

So proud of the team and how far we've come. SDBF concluded about a week ago. We came to take all and we did!! Best season yet.

0 DAYS TO SDBF.
D-DAY.

Today we had the tertiary (IVP) finals. Heart. Attack. Ok not really. Tomorrow I'll get bigger heart attacks I suppose ha ha ha

But today marks the season's last IVP race...and we've won every single IVP womens race since the start of this season I am so proud of the team yah. All my warriors fighting with me in every IVP race :')

SDBF/PM CUP

Crunch time...

3 days to SDBF.
4 days to PM Cup.
11 days till I leave for Korea.


Haha so many countdowns...my biggest countdown is SDBF/PM Cup right now. Followed by the future of the team, and then Korea. Korea, Korea, Korea. Sigh maybe because I'm too attached to my teammates, my friends, my family, my punishing lifestyle as a dragonboater (lawllll) but I don't really want to leave this country haha

Used to be so into Korean stuff and Kpop but with my hectic university life I've stopped chasing so much and it's hard to get back into the loop now (I've been saying this to all my friends nowadays haha).

Except Roy Kim. I luvvvvvv his voice and was planning to chase after him and his music in Korea. Mini fell in love with the indie-ish Korean music scene (since I had no time to go idol-chasing anymore ha ha) and am devastated that Roy Kim is leaving for USA to study (not allowed to take anymore temporary leave of abscence) the day before I arrive in Korea. And for a whole semester.

Which means we would miss each other - I'll be studying in Korea the same semester where he'll be studying in the US.

Dayuuuuuuum.

B-b-b-bangkok city I can't stop~

Just got back from a 5D4N in Bangkok!! Crazy time at BKK shopping shopping and more shopping. Haha.

But it was fun, went to Platinum, Pratunam (for a tiny bit), Chatuchak (don't like how it's a freaking maze and it's so hot but coconut ice cream yumz), Terminal 21, Asiatique...

I visited all the toilets at Terminal 21!! #achievementunlocked ahahaha the toilets are super interesting, every floor is a different theme/country so I went to the Hot Springs in Japan, the underground subway in London, and some shady interior in Istanbul. Haha and at the top floor, San Francisco the toilets were the bakery/pastry kitchen!! Super cute sinks over in San Francisco by the way. Hahaha.

I'll upload some photos from BKK here soon, but I'll have to find my usb cable first...haha. Ok I'll do it asap since I have to clear my camera for Korea anyway. Jeju-do!!!!!
